Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Support professional to assist walk-in and contractor customers with product selection, pricing, and order inquiries. You will generate quotations, enter orders, and coordinate production and delivery with store operations.

You will engage in researching and soliciting new customers while expanding relationships with existing clients, ensuring smooth order processing and high customer satisfaction across channels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1 year sales experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of product pricing, discounting and estimating formulas.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support to walk-in and remote customers; assist with product selection and pricing.
• Generate sales quotations and enter orders into the system; address refunds/exchanges when needed.
• Coordinate production and delivery scheduling with store operations.
• Research and pursue new customers while expanding relationships with current customers.
• Troubleshoot order issues to optimize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
