Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service professional to support walk-in and contractor customers, respond to inquiries, and help with pricing and quotes. You will enter orders, coordinate production and delivery, and troubleshoot issues to maximize sales opportunities.

Strong communication, product knowledge, and customer service skills are essential, along with basic sales techniques and proficiency in Office Suite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 (one) year of sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of company products, competitor’s products and company standards.
• Knowledge of company product pricing, discount and estimating formulas and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer support to walk-in retail or contractor customers and responds to telephone and e-mail inquiries from customers.
• Actively engages in selling company products and services. Provides material take offs, estimates and pricing of large packages.
• Schedules the production and delivery of orders with store operations.
• Troubleshoots order processing issues to ensure customer satisfaction and optimize sales opportunities.
