Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to cultivate relationships, process orders, and manage product availability for assigned customers. You will become the primary contact for service offerings, pricing, scheduling, and shipping inquiries, while identifying upselling opportunities and potential cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years inside sales experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Strong telephone and in-person customer interaction skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and financial calculations.
• Entrepreneurial and assertive with goal-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Remotely contacts current and potential customers to grow prospects and sales using Vallen's inside sales methodology.
• Generates and refers leads to the Vallen sales team.
• Assists with preparing sales quotes, bids, and proposals.
• Provides post-sale training, support, and service transition.
• Convincing communicator with empathy and value articulation.
• Drives use of digital tools and requests stock items for customers.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Monitor performance through daily/weekly/monthly reports.
