Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Associate to expand customer relationships and ensure accurate determinations of needs. You will act as the inside half of the sales team, guide junior staff, and ensure error-free transactions while spending over half your time at customer locations.

The role focuses on quotes, orders, inventory management, and proactive sales activities across branch and customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience in customer service and sales support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes and process orders via multiple channels.
• Maintain inventory levels for consignment customers and source products as needed.
• Negotiate pricing to maximize gross profit within authorized parameters.
• Promote Motion Industries’ products to existing customers and generate new sales.
• Mentor/lead lower level employees and support operations as needed.
