Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Outside Sales support professional in a high-volume environment. You will assist in meetings with customers, prospect for new business, and provide high-quality service to both walk-in and contractor customers.

You will help with product selection, pricing, availability, and refunds/exchanges, generate quotations, and enter orders into the system while training junior Inside Sales Reps.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years sales experience.
• Prefer industry-related experience where possible.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers and solicit sales orders.
• Provide support to walk-in and contractor customers via phone and email.
• Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, and refunds/exchanges.
• Determine customer requirements to recommend products and services.
• Prepare sales quotations and pricing for large packages.
• Enter orders into the computer system.
• Train and assist less experienced Inside Sales Representatives.
