Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America's largest supplier of building materials, is seeking an Outside Sales Support professional to assist our sales team in meetings with customers and site visits.

You will prospect new customers, provide high-quality service to current customers, respond to inquiries, quote pricing, and support orders. Training and mentoring of junior Inside Sales Representatives are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years sales experience.
• Experience in customer service and prospecting new customers.
• Ability to provide quotes, pricing, and product recommendations.
• Strong communication and computer order entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers and solicit sales orders by phone.
• Provide support to walk-in customers and respond to inquiries.
• Recommend products based on requirements and price/availability.
• Enter orders into the computer system and support pricing.
