Job summary

Mercury Insurance is seeking a results-driven sales professional to execute our inside sales strategy in California. The role focuses on cultivating strong agency relationships to drive production and profitability in a multi-million dollar portfolio.

You will develop sales plans, mentor agencies, analyze territory performance, and collaborate with internal partners to deliver a superior customer experience while pursuing ambitious growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related fields
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required

Responsibilities

• Motivates and inspires assigned agency plant to achieve new business growth and profitability goals.
• Growth and profitability management of an assigned commercial territory with a portfolio of $25M+ in written premium.
• Creates sales call plans and conducts effective virtual sales calls to drive new business and meet goals.
• Develops flow of new business opportunities aligned with Mercury’s Commercial appetite and guidelines.
• Leverages incentives to influence agency behavior toward goals.
• Analyzes territory sales data to identify growth opportunities.
• Serves as primary contact for agencies and Mercury team.
• Implements segmentation within agency plant to maximize visibility.
