Mercury Insurance Co. is seeking a Sales Representative to manage and grow a designated territory of independent agencies with complex profiles.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships, strategic planning, and cross-team collaboration to drive growth and market share for Mercury products. Reporting to the Manager of Sales, you will execute sales strategies, recruit new agencies, train partners, and use data to optimize performance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience is required.
• 2 years of sales experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Territory Management: Manage and develop a designated sales territory of Independent Agencies, focusing on those with complex profiles; create and implement strategic plans to maximize agency growth and profitability.
• New Agent Appointments and Relationship Building: Identify potential independent agencies through market research and events; establish and nurture relationships; influence agencies to quote and sell Mercury products.
• Sales Strategy Execution: Execute sales strategies to grow Mercury’s market share within the territory; adjust sales tactics to align with company goals and industry trends; pursue mutually beneficial solutions.
• Data Driven Planning: Conduct weekly in-person or virtual sales calls and use data analytics to coach agents on performance and strategy.
• Market Intelligence: Gather competitor intelligence; provide feedback on market conditions, service levels, and program effectiveness.
• Accountability and Follow-Up: Maintain regular contact with agencies; hold owners accountable to goals; resolve issues and respond to inquiries promptly.
