Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama seeks a registered hospital coder (RHIA/RHIT/CCS) with at least five years of hospital coding experience, including Medicare inpatients and DRG regulations, to join our team.

The role is a day shift with a $6,000 sign-on bonus, and requires excellent oral and written communication skills and solid PC proficiency.

We are a not-for-profit system dedicated to patient care, education, and community well-being, with about 3,000 team members.

Qualifications

• Must be RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification.
• Minimum of five years’ hospital coding experience, including Medicare inpatients, with DRG knowledge.
