Job summary

Progressive Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist in Washington to investigate complex injury claims, including attorney-represented cases. You will consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others to determine coverage, liability and the claim value.

This hybrid role requires attendance for key meetings about four days per month, with ongoing coaching. In-office work is available more than four days per month if desired.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases.
• Consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Determine coverage, liability and total value of the claim.
