Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist to help resolve injury claims. You’ll investigate complex and high-risk cases, including attorney-represented claims, consulting with police, medical professionals, claimants, and others to determine coverage, liability, and total claim value.

The role is hybrid, reporting to an office about four days a month for meetings and training, with coaching from a supportive team. You may work more in-office if you prefer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others to gather information.
• Determine coverage, liability and total value of the claim.
