Job summary

Progressive in Washington state seeks a senior claims specialist to investigate complex and high‑risk injury claims, including attorney‑represented cases. You will consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others to determine coverage, liability, and the total value of the claim.

This is a hybrid role with in‑office collaboration about four days per month for meetings, training, and teamwork; you may work in office more if you prefer.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high‑risk injury claims, including attorney‑represented cases.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Evaluate coverage, liability and the total value of the claim.
• Lead claims handling with strong negotiation and customer service focus.
