Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist to investigate complex injury claims and determine coverage, liability, and settlement value. This hybrid role requires coordination with police, medical professionals, and claimants to resolve cases efficiently.

You will report to quarterly meetings and coaching while enjoying flexible in-office involvement; in-office days exceed four per month if desired. You’ll leverage discovery tools and have opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling OR
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree OR
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims including attorney-represented cases
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident
• Determine coverage, liability and total value of the claim
