Job summary

Progressive in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a senior claims specialist to investigate complex injury claims, including attorney-represented cases, and to determine coverage, liability and total claim value.

This hybrid role requires reporting to the office about four days per month for meetings, training, and collaboration, with optional additional in-office days. You will work with police, medical professionals, claimants and others, supported by coaching from a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling and a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases.
• Consult with police officers, medical professionals, claimants and others to determine coverage and liability.
