Job summary

Alltrista Plastics LLC in Reedsville, PA, is seeking a Senior Process Technician to optimize injection molding operations across the facility. Under minimal supervision, you will troubleshoot complex molding issues, lead technical initiatives, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities include mold set-ups, process start-ups, color changes, and collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Production to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of injection molding processing and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated technical leadership with the ability to train, mentor, and support Process Technicians in advanced troubleshooting, scientific molding techniques, and safe equipment operation.
• Systematic problem solving using data analysis and valid methods; knowledge of mold design and rheology.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Experience with CIM and understanding of mold tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and resolves complex issues involving molding equipment, robotics/automation, auxiliary equipment, and electrical control systems.
• Performs mold set-ups, process start-ups, color changes, and process adjustments while ensuring equipment and tooling are operating safely and efficiently.
• Partners with Quality, Tooling, Automation, Engineering, and Production to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement.
• Provides technical leadership by training and mentoring technicians on best practices and safe operating procedures.
• Develops and improves manufacturing processes using scientific molding principles, SPC, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Supports mold maintenance activities including wiring, gate maintenance, and tooling repairs.
• Maintains compliance with QMS and safety standards; documents issues and reports to leadership.
