Schaefer Plastics North America, LLC is seeking a Process Technician III to provide advanced technical leadership in injection molding. You will drive complex troubleshooting, optimize processing windows, mentor junior technicians, and coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve uptime, quality, and efficiency.

Competenze

Typically, five or more years of progressive injection molding Process Technician experience.
Demonstrated mastery of injection molding fundamentals, process optimization, molding defects, and hot-runner systems.
Experience leading or mentoring technicians and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Mansioni

Lead diagnosis and correction of complex injection molding issues.
Establish and optimize processing windows using scientific molding principles.
Create and validate machine/robot programs within change-control requirements.
Mentor technicians and coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Engineering.
Support mold launches, process validation, and knowledge transfer to production teams.
Monitor machines and respond to process-related issues to reduce downtime and scrap.
