Job summary

Alltrista Plastics LLC in Reedsville, PA, seeks a hands-on Supervisor, Operations, to maintain a productive, safe, and fair work environment across shifts. You will lead molding operations, ensure quality, and meet customer expectations.

You will manage mold changes, coordinate with maintenance and tooling teams, supervise staff, monitor safety, coach employees, and ensure adherence to policy and procedures while supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• Three to five years processing injection molding experience.
• Three to five years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Understanding of Quality standards and systems including Statistical Process Control and other quality measurements.
• Standing skills necessary to perform mold changes as required.
• Heavy lifting and heavy limb movements up to 40 pounds.
• Spoken communication skills to lead others.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot molding process and maintain quality within specs.
• Oversee mold setup, changes, and on-floor operations for efficiency.
• Direct preventive maintenance and coordinate with maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with Tooling Team for repair schedules and tool life.
• Provide shift change information and maintain required reports.
• Ensure adequate supplies and fair personnel treatment.
• Conduct performance reviews and enforce disciplinary actions if needed.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping and promote continuous improvement.
• Support QMS and comply with policy and procedures.
• Maintain good working relationships and attendance on shifts.
