Job summary

S&B USA Construction seeks a Project Engineer 2 to oversee large-scale heavy-highway and heavy-civil projects in the Mid-Atlantic. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting using Oracle P6, Power BI, AutoCAD/Bentley, and ERP tools.

You'll lead project teams, manage budgets, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and mentor staff while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance on demanding infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in heavy-highway or heavy-civil construction projects in a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle P6, and AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in field and office environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and refine project plans with detailed scheduling and critical path analysis.
• Ensure milestones and objectives are met, adapting plans as necessary for project success.
• Lead collaborative efforts with project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Applications for effective communication and reporting.
• Use Power BI for advanced reporting and data analysis, providing insights on progress.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, government agencies, and subcontractors.
• Provide regular and transparent project updates and address stakeholder concerns promptly.
• Lead budgeting and cost management using Excel and Viewpoint Vista ERP.
• Identify and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
• Ensure all project aspects comply with quality standards and regulations.
• Ensure design adherence using AutoCAD/Bentley outputs.
