Job summary

Windcave in New York is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to own and operate the live global payments platform in a high-security environment. You will design, deploy, and troubleshoot infrastructure across edge security, virtualization, and datacenter operations with autonomy during US hours and support from international colleagues.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Linux, Hyper-V, and enterprise load balancing.

Qualifications

• In-depth production experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Hands-on Linux administration and Hyper-V virtualization including clustering/storage.
• Experience configuring load balancers and high-availability networking.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation focus.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS or regulated environments and enterprise security.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and operate the infrastructure behind a live global payments platform.
• Diagnose root cause on production systems and drive resolution.
• Manage edge security, load balancing, and network services in a PCI DSS environment.
• Collaborate with international teams and support 24/7 operations.
