Job summary

Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks an Account Manager to expand sales within an assigned territory. You will develop strategic plans, build key relationships with institutional stakeholders, and drive adoption of transplant therapies.

You will engage cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access, while maintaining rigorous data records and reports in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in business, scientific, or related field.
• 7–10 years of specialty pharma sales in complex institutions.
• Experience in HSV, IC, HSCT, SOT or hematologic malignancies.
• Ability to lead cross-functionally without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency.
• HCIR credentialing to access facilities and organizations in the territory.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Travel requirements: 60–70% domestic.

Responsibilities

• Creates a business plan to drive awareness, maximize territory sales and generate revenue.
• Develops, implements, and maintains knowledge of territory, market dynamics, products, competitors, and disease states.
• Develops and maintains superior relationships within institutional target audience, including Key Opinion Leaders.
• Educates institutional audiences using approved resources, materials, and promotions.
• Increases access and adoption at the institutional level (protocol development support, treatment pathway integration, care transitions).
• Maintains accurate records of all sales activities and follow-up.
• Participates in local and regional events, conferences, and meetings.
• Collaborates with Sales Operations, Field Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access.
• Meets sales goals and submits timely reports while adhering to regulations.
• Organizes territory-specific events (speaker bureaus, lunch-and-learn programs).
• Participates in special projects as needed.
• Shares market intelligence to optimize brand strategy.
• Manages expenses within the assigned budget.
