Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to grow sales within the assigned territory by developing and executing a strategic business plan aligned with leadership and company guidelines.

The role focuses on maximizing net sales of assigned products, building deep knowledge of the territory, disease states, and competitors, and maintaining strong relationships with institutional audiences including Key Opinion Leaders. Travel 60-70% is expected.

Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A. in business, scientific, or related discipline.
  • 7–10 years’ experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales in complex institutions.
  • Experience in refractory HSV, IC, HSCT, SOT or hematologic malignancies required; multiple disease areas strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lead cross-functionally without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitor knowledge; recognized as an expert resource.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Meets HCIR credentialing requirements to gain entry into facilities in the territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting company standards.
  • Travel 60–70% domestic; overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Creates a business plan to drive awareness, maximize territory sales and generate revenue.
  • Develops, implements, and continuously builds knowledge of territory, market dynamics, products, competitors, and disease states.
  • Develops and maintains superior relationships within institutional target audience, including Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Educates institutional audiences using Company approved resources, sales materials, and promotional initiatives.
  • Works to increase access and adoption at the institutional level (P&T committee understanding, protocol development support, treatment pathway integration, inpatient-to-outpatient care transition).
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales activities, including sales calls, presentations, targets/leads database, and follow-up activities.
  • Regularly participates in local and regional professional events, industry conferences, annual meetings, and other Company-wide meetings.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional team members, including Sales Operations, Field Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access.
  • Achieves sales goals, conducts day-to-day activities including submitting timely and accurate reports while adhering to ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
  • Organizes and executes territory-specific events, such as speaker bureau presentations, lunch-and-learn programs, etc.
  • Participates in special projects or sales-related activities, as deemed necessary.
  • Shares market intelligence to optimize brand strategy and execution.
  • Works within assigned expense budget by exercising sound judgment regarding general operating, travel, and promotional expenditures.
