Job summary

Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks an Account Manager for Infectious Disease to develop and expand sales within a defined territory.

You will create and execute strategic plans to maximize net sales, educate institutional audiences, and build strong relationships with KOLs while adhering to company guidelines. The role requires 7–10 years in specialty pharma, deep therapeutic knowledge, and the ability to work across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of specialty pharmaceutical sales in complex institutions.
• Experience in HSV, IC, HSCT, SOT or hematologic malignancies; multiple disease areas preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Deep scientific and therapeutic knowledge; recognized as an expert resource.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• HCIR credentialing eligibility to access facilities and organizations in the territory.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Travel 60–70% domestically; overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a strategic business plan to maximize territory net sales.
• Builds knowledge of territory, market dynamics, products, competitors, and disease states.
• Develops and maintains relationships with institutional audiences including KOLs.
• Educates institutional audiences using approved resources, materials, and initiatives.
• Increases access and adoption at the institutional level (P&T, protocol development, care pathways).
• Maintains records of all sales activities and follow-ups.
• Participates in local and regional events and meetings.
• Collaborates with Sales Ops, Field Medical, Marketing, and Market Access.
• Achieves sales goals and submits reports with compliant practices.
• Organizes territory events like speaker bureaus and lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Participates in special projects and shares market intelligence.
• Manages territory expenses within budget.
