Job summary

Myers Industrial Equipment Services is seeking an experienced Sales Representative in Florida to develop new business opportunities and manage existing accounts. You will analyze customer needs, propose industrial product solutions, prepare quotations, and guide orders from quote through delivery.

You will collaborate with production, accounting, and customer service to ensure satisfaction and timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field and at least 10 years of proven sales experience.
• Proven success selling manufactured or industrial products.
• Experience selling industrial, mechanical, electrical, engineered, fabricated, or custom-manufactured products is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts.
• Promote and sell the company's manufactured products to new and existing customers.
• Build strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs and providing effective product solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales while maintaining profitability.
• Identify new markets and sales opportunities to support company growth.
• Collaborate with production, accounting, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
• Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
