Florida Detroit Diesel Allison is seeking an Outside Service Sales Representative to sell parts and services across trucking, marine, construction, mining, and energy sectors. You will build new accounts, service existing ones, and meet aggressive sales goals by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.

The role requires coordination with engineering and manufacturing teams, bid preparation, and timely delivery.

• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, production and purchasing to oversee project development and timely delivery.
• Monitor sales orders to ensure project costs, materials lists, and delivery schedules meet specifications.
• Compute installation or production costs and prepare bid specifications; negotiate proposals and contracts.
• Develop relationships with petroleum-industry professionals to enhance business image.
• Plan and organize sales strategy and market approach.
• Resolve customer problems, issues, or complaints promptly.
• Provide product information to improve market share and customer understanding.
• Attend sales and trade meetings to stay informed on market conditions and industry developments.
• Demonstrate and explain use of installed equipment and production processes.
• Arrange installation and test operation of machinery and propose solutions to product-related problems.
• Evaluate sales performance and provide management with reports on customer needs and market trends.
