Job summary

ATS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform mid to expert level maintenance and troubleshooting in a factory setting in the United States. The role focuses on electrical, mechanical, and control systems with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualified candidates will have an Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, plus hands-on repair knowledge, in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience, or 5 years in general industry.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems; ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, locate root causes, dismantle devices, repair or replace parts, and test performance.
• Identify, source parts and supplies as needed.
• Independently perform maintenance per industry standards and safety policies.
• Set up and operate multiple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and may perform welding tasks.
• Follow 5S and housekeeping standards and contribute to CI activities.
• Update CMMS history and review equipment data.
• Troubleshoot control systems and resolve software/hardware issues.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and support to teams.
