Job summary

ATS is a seasoned industrial maintenance company with a footprint in the United States and beyond. We seek a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform break-fix and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex control systems, and drive CI initiatives to improve reliability.

The role requires a technical associate degree (or equivalent experience) and hands-on electrical, mechanical, and fluid power expertise.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in a technical field with 5 years of related experience or 7 years in the industry.
  • Experience with predictive technologies and precision alignments.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
  • Ability to use basic and specialized hand tools.
  • Experience with vibration analysis or laser interferometry.
  • Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
  • Identify root causes by observing devices in operation.
  • Dismantle devices to access parts and replace defective ones.
  • Source parts and evaluate alternatives to improve cost/reliability.
  • Set up and operate machining equipment as needed.
  • Follow 5S and housekeeping standards.
  • Lead CI activities to improve processes and costs.
  • Train and mentor lower level technicians.
  • Troubleshoot complex control systems.
  • Use predictive maintenance data to monitor equipment performance.
  • Update CMMS records.
  • Participate in safety policies.
