Job summary

ATS, a leader in industrial maintenance, is seeking a skilled technician to perform expert break-fix, preventive maintenance, and complex equipment improvements on electrical and mechanical systems. You will troubleshoot control systems, analyze equipment performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on site.

The role requires 7+ years in the industry or an equivalent combination with an associate degree in a technical field, and a willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments and maintenance of process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems and can analyze problems and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Six Sigma experience is desirable.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance, and designs improvements for mechanical and electrical equipment as required.
• Programs, troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration problems.
• Leads CI activities and supports cost savings through process improvements.
• Identifies and sources parts and repairs, suggesting engineered solutions to improve reliability.
• Maintains CMMS records and updates documentation.
