Job summary

ATS is a U.S.-based industrial maintenance company seeking a skilled technician to perform expert break-fix and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing setting. The role involves diagnosing root causes, repairing parts, and working with planners to optimize maintenance procedures.

Ideal candidates have a technical Associate degree (or equivalent) with several years of related experience, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and experience with predictive technologies and precision

Qualifications

Associates degree with technical focus and 5 years of related experience; or 7 years in the industry.
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of process equipment.
Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of process equipment.

Responsibilities

Performs expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including identifying root causes and repairing parts.
Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items; evaluates alternatives to improve cost or reliability.
Independently performs maintenance per industry standards; collaborates with Planner Scheduler to optimize procedures.
May operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks; follows 5S and housekeeping standards.
Leads CI activities, supports training for junior staff, and analyzes complex control systems; uses predictive maintenance data to guide decisions.
