GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineering Leader to join the FLIGHT DECK Industrial Engineering Group in the United States. The role focuses on standard work, layout planning, kaizen, and optimizing material flow, asset utilization, and capacity across shop operations.

Travel up to 60% is required. You will lead lean transformations, drive capacity utilization, coach teams, and establish best-practice standards across the manufacturing network while advancing continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering is required.
Minimum of 5 years experience facilitating lean transformations.
Willing to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

Develop and coach Lean techniques and standard work.
Partner to execute capacity utilization with Operations and FLIGHT DECK.
Improve workflow by analyzing process flows and workstations.
Layout and workstation planning.
Design and deploy manufacturing systems with emphasis on machining lines.
Improve labor and machine utilization.
Create Standard Work and visual management for material flow and process optimization.
Share and communicate best practice standards across the network.
Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resources and communicate complex concepts.
