Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States seeks a Senior Industrial Engineering Leader to drive lean transformations and capacity optimization across Flight Deck manufacturing. You will develop standards, optimize material flow, and coach teams across shop operations and cross-functional groups.

The role requires travel up to 60% and leadership of projects focused on process improvement, standard work, and visual management to enhance asset utilization and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (required).
• Minimum of 5 years facilitating lean transformations in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Willing to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Master's degree and 3+ years leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced competency in Lean tools and coach associates in Lean principles (FLIGHT DECK).
• Partner to develop and execute Capacity Utilization processes with Operations, FLIGHT DECK and IE Leaders.
• Improve workflow by studying process flow charts and modifying workflows and workstations.
• Layout and workstation planning to optimize capacity and flow.
• Design, develop, and deploy manufacturing systems with emphasis on machining lines and balancing capacity.
• Lead teams on projects with minimal resources and communicate complex concepts.
