GE Aerospace in the United States seeks a Senior Industrial Engineering Leader to drive Lean transformation across FLIGHT DECK manufacturing and test operations. You will lead standard work, layout planning, capacity utilization, and continuous improvement across multiple part families with cross-functional teams.

The role requires up to 60% travel and in-person collaboration; you will mentor teams, develop best practices, and advance flow of material, asset utilization, and resource capacity

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (required)
• Minimum of 5 years experience facilitating lean transformations in manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Willing to travel up to 60% of the time
• 10+ years experience in lean transformations or manufacturing/machining operations (desired)
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (desired)
• 3+ years of leadership experience (desired)

Mansioni

• Develop competency in Industrial Engineering methods and Lean tools and coach associates in Lean (FLIGHT DECK) principles
• Partner to develop and execute Capacity Utilization process with Operations and IE Leaders
• Improve workflow by studying process flow, modifying workstations, and creating new procedures
• Layout and workstation planning
• Design, develop, and deploy manufacturing systems focused on machining lines and capacity
• Improve labor and machine utilization through method study and layout changes
• Create Standard Work and implement visual management for material flow
• Share advanced process flows and best practices across the network
• Apply Lean to address complex processes and communicate benefits/risk
• Lead functional teams or projects with limited resources and communicate complex concepts
