Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineering Leader to drive lean transformations and capacity utilization across FLIGHT DECK operations. You will develop standardized work, analyze layouts, and lead cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and asset utilization.

The role requires up to 60% travel and in-person collaboration, with a focus on continuous improvement and problem solving from shop floor to boardroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years facilitating lean transformations in manufacturing/supply chain
• Willing to travel up to 60% of the time
• Master's degree and 3+ years leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and coach on Lean methods and tools across FLIGHT DECK operations
• Lead standard capacity utilization and workflow improvements with Operations and IE Leaders
• Improve workflow by studying processes and designing new procedures
• Layout and workstation planning experience required
• Design and deploy manufacturing systems with emphasis on machining lines and capacity balance
• Improve labor and machine utilization through method study and layout changes
• Create Standard Work and visual management for material flow
• Share best practice standards across the network
• Lead cross-functional teams with minimal resources and influence others
