Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to drive continuous improvement across a manufacturing facility in Cresco, IA. You will identify issues in product flow, remove bottlenecks, reduce WIP, and lead projects that save costs and improve throughput.

Qualifications

Experience with industrial engineering data collection and practical problem solving.
Strong knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and implement site-wide lean activities to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
Foster professional development of facility leads, supervisors and managers.
Lead standardization and optimization of manufacturing processes and layouts.
Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and office operations.
Develop project plans, drive performance, and ensure timely completion of initiatives.
Plan equipment layouts and safety measures to maximize facility utilization.
Collaborate with leadership to develop a continuous improvement roadmap.
Lead capacity modeling, production planning tools, and time standards.
Provide direction to operators and technicians while supporting development.
Perform data collection, root cause analysis, and practical problem solving.
