Job summary

Talent With Heart in Cresco, IA seeks an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead site-wide lean initiatives, improve product flow, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and office functions.

You will provide leadership to operators and technicians, develop capacity models and time standards, and manage improvement projects from planning through implementation to achieve savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
• Experience applying LEAN principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and drive initiatives through completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement site-wide lean activities, including 5S, standard work, visual management, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and 8D, to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
• Foster the professional development of facility Leads, Supervisors, and Managers
• Lead the standardization and optimization of manufacturing processes, sequences, layouts, and product flow.
• Lead and track continuous improvement activities across all functional areas, including manufacturing and office operations.
• Develop detailed project plans, drive project performance, and ensure timely completion of improvement projects and achievement of savings goals.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Site Leadership Team to develop a continuous improvement roadmap.
