Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer in Cresco, IA to lead continuous improvement initiatives and optimize product flow.

The role requires a strong background in lean methods, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. You will oversee a range of manufacturing and office processes, drive standardization, and mentor operators and supervision toward higher performance and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and implement site-wide lean activities to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
• Foster development of facility leads, supervisors, and managers.
• Standardize and optimize manufacturing processes, layouts and product flow.
• Lead continuous improvement across manufacturing and office operations.
• Develop project plans, drive performance, and ensure timely completion of improvement projects.
• Design layouts, workflows, and safety measures to maximize facility utilization.
• Oversee equipment capital expenditures from design to implementation.
• Collaborate with site leadership to develop a continuous improvement roadmap.
• Develop capacity modeling and production planning tools.
• Provide direction to operators and technicians and support their development.
• Perform data collection and root cause analyses to address operational issues.
