Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, is seeking a Sr Industrial Engineer to drive industrial models, analytics, and decision-support for manufacturing. You will collaborate with stakeholders on resource and infrastructure roadmaps while delivering actionable insights.

The role requires technical communication, problem-solving, and a passion for enabling future cloud computing production. You will influence line balancing, cost modeling, and production readiness across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years relevant experience in an engineering role.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehousing environments.
• Experience with analysis tools such as SQL and Tableau, or equivalents.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn continuously.
• Independent initiative to complete projects with urgency.
• Proficiency with programming languages and technical self-learning.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to simplify complex results.
• Experience with lean/continuous improvement programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial engineering activities supporting new product introductions and transfers, including capacity planning and line balancing.
• Support design of storage/processing areas, develop workflows, and coordinate build-out in the facility.
• Support RFP/RFQ activities with capacity, labor, cycle time analyses for feasibility assessments.
• Evaluate and review MES/SFC processes and improvements.
• Develop manufacturing cost models to support business cases and product launches.
