Job summary

Amteck, a nationally recognized Top 50 Electrical Design-Build Contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.

You will service power distribution equipment, motors, controls, and related components, maintain accurate documentation, support EHS initiatives, and travel frequently up to 100% as

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and power distribution.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
• High proficiency with electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Strong computer skills for reports and project information.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults.
• Inspect wiring and components for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service equipment for reliability.
• Test power distribution, controls, and motors.
• Evaluate equipment condition and maintenance risks.
• Apply LOTO and arc-flash safety procedures.
• Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
• Document inspections, test results, and actions.
• Communicate findings with customers and team.
• Enforce company and site safety requirements.
