Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B and NETA standards while maintaining reliability and safety of facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, and servicing power distribution equipment, motors, and controls. Strong documentation and safety discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of NEC rules and electrical safety practices.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, inspection and repair in industrial settings.
• Ability to read construction drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and standards.
• Identify faults via infrared thermography and visual inspections.
• Service power distribution, motors, controls and related equipment.
• Document inspections, test results and corrective actions.
• Follow safety protocols including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
• Communicate findings with customers and team members.
