Requires 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong knowledge of power distribution, arc-flash awareness, and ability to travel up to 100%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an industrial electrical maintenance setting
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial electrical installations
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies
• High proficiency with electrical tools and testing equipment
• Strong computer proficiency for reporting and documentation
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and related safety standards
• Willingness to travel up to 100%
• Ability to read construction documents and manuals

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing in accordance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat signatures and potential faults
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for reliability
• Test power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors for proper function
• Assess equipment conditions and maintenance risks to minimize downtime
• Apply lockout/tagout procedures and arc-flash safety practices
• Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices
• Document inspections, test results, and corrective actions
• Identify and mitigate issues to reduce costs and downtime
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Enforce site safety programs and policies
