Job summary

Amteck, a nationally recognized Top 50 Electrical Design-Build Contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to support industrial facilities. The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, with emphasis on safety, NFPA 70B/70E, OEM specs, and NETA standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong power distribution knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E/70B safety standards.
Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
Proficient with electrical tools and testing equipment.
Ability to travel up to 100% of time.
Ability to read construction drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA.
Identify faults with infrared thermography and visual inspections.
Repair and service power distribution, motors, and controls.
Maintain documentation of inspections, tests, and actions.
Ensure safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash compliance.
Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
