Amteck, a nationally recognized Top 50 Electrical Design-Build Contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to support industrial facilities. The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, with emphasis on safety, NFPA 70B/70E, OEM specs, and NETA standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong power distribution knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E/70B safety standards.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies.
• Proficient with electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of time.
• Ability to read construction drawings and documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA.
• Identify faults with infrared thermography and visual inspections.
• Repair and service power distribution, motors, and controls.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, tests, and actions.
• Ensure safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash compliance.
• Support EHS initiatives and safe work practices.
