Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial facilities. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards to support uptime and safety.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, testing of power distribution and motor control, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficient with electrical theory and power distribution in industrial settings.
• Experience with NFPA 70B, NETA standards, and arc-flash safety.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills for inspections and actions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults and heat signatures.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for optimal performance.
• Test power distribution, controls, and motors to verify function.
• Identify maintenance risks and communicate improvement opportunities.
