Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support preventive maintenance and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards while maintaining reliability and safety of facility electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial installations.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies aligned with industry standards.
• Proficient with electrical tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of arc-flash safety and safety protocols (LOTO, NFPA 70E) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify heat signatures and faults.
• Inspect electrical components for wear, contamination, or damage.
• Clean and service equipment to ensure performance and longevity.
• Test power distribution systems, controls, and motors for proper function.
• Assess equipment conditions and maintenance risks.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash safety.
• Maintain documentation of inspections and actions.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and team about work and equipment.
• Support safety programs and safe work practices.
