Job summary

Amteck is seeking Electrical Maintenance Technicians to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards while supporting uptime and safety.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, strong knowledge of power distribution and arc-flash safety, and be able to travel up to 100% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial electrical installations.
• Ability to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies aligned with industry standards.
• High proficiency with electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing in accordance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat signatures and faults.
• Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections for wear or damage.
• Service power distribution equipment, motors, and control systems to ensure reliability.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
