Job summary

Amteck, a nationally recognized electrical design-build contractor, is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to support industrial facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection and repair of electrical systems to ensure uptime, safety and reliability, following NFPA 70B, OEM specs and NETA standards.

Candidates should have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong knowledge of power distribution, NEC/NFPA rules, and proficient documentation.

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of NFPA 70B, NEC and NFPA 70E safety standards.
Ability to travel up to 100% as required.
Proficient in generating and reviewing reports and project information.
Experience interpreting arc-flash studies and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA standards.
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults and hot spots.
Inspect wiring, components, and equipment for wear or damage.
Service power distribution equipment, motors, and control systems.
Maintain documentation of inspections, actions, and recommendations.
Enforce safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
Communicate findings to customers, supervisors and team members.
