Job summary

Amteck in Alabama is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will ensure safety, reliability and uptime by servicing power distribution equipment, motors, and controls in manufacturing environments.

The role requires experience with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards, with strong documentation and communication to customers and teams. Travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory and power distribution.
• Experience with NFPA 70B, NEC, OSHA NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Ability to read construction drawings and reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems per NFPA 70B and OEM specs.
• Inspect and service power distribution, motors, and controls to ensure reliability.
• Document inspections, tests, actions, and recommendations.
• Maintain safety programs including LOTO and arc-flash awareness.
