Job summary

Amteck is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to service industrial facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in line with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.

Focus areas include power distribution equipment, motors, and controls to ensure uptime, safety, and reliability. Strong NEC/OSHA/NFPA knowledge and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of power distribution and industrial installations.
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies aligned with industry standards.
• High proficiency with electrical testing tools and diagnostic instruments.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of NEC rules and site safety requirements.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B and NETA.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults and heat signatures.
• Complete visual inspections of electrical components to identify wear or damage.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for reliability.
• Perform electrical testing on power distribution systems and motors.
• Assess equipment condition and identify maintenance risks.
• Apply LOTO, arc-flash safety, and review safety procedures.
• Support EHS initiatives and safety programs.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, results, and actions.
• Communicate findings to customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Enforce site safety requirements and continuous safe work practices.
