Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial environments. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards while maintaining reliability and safety of facility electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, testing, and documentation of actions. Travel up to 100% and strong safety culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E/70B.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards.
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat signatures and potential faults.
• Complete visual inspections of electrical components, wiring, and connections.
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment for longevity and performance.
• Perform electrical testing on power distribution systems, motors, and control equipment.
