Job summary

Amteck's Service division is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will work per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards to maintain reliability and safety of facility electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, visual inspections, testing of power distribution, and proper documentation.

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance
Strong understanding of NEC, power distribution, and industrial installations
Experience with NFPA 70B/NETA safety standards and arc-flash awareness
Ability to travel up to 100% and work in diverse environments
Strong documentation and reporting skills

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards
Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults
Inspect components and connections for wear or damage
Service and test power distribution equipment, motors, and controls
Ensure safety procedures including LOTO and arc-flash awareness
Maintain accurate records of inspections and actions
Communicate clearly with customers and team members
