Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards to maintain uptime and safety of facility electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include infrared thermography, inspections, and documentation, with a strong emphasis on safety, LOTO procedures, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and power distribution
• Ability to develop preventive maintenance strategies
• Proficiency with diagnostic instruments and testing equipment
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E and other safety standards
• Willingness to travel up to 100%
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to safety and reliability

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing per NFPA 70B, OEM specs, and NETA standards
• Conduct infrared thermography to identify faults
• Inspect electrical components for wear or damage
• Clean, lubricate, and service electrical equipment
• Perform electrical testing on power distribution systems, controls, and motors
• Document inspections, test results, corrective actions
• Communicate with customers and team about equipment condition and work performed
• Enforce company safety program and site safety requirements
