Job summary

Stevens Engineers & Constructors, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to join our Cleveland Operations Team.

The role oversees all phases of industrial construction projects, coordinating employees, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to meet specifications, quality standards, timeline, and budget. The ideal candidate has client-focused approach, strong leadership, and can work independently or as part of a project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a construction-related field.
• Five years of project management experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to manage a team of employees and multiple projects.
• Experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and maintain effective relationships with all project stakeholders.
• Organize and implement the project safety program per company policies.
• Interface with the client as primary contact and communicate project status.
• Develop and maintain understanding of contract documents, including plans and subcontracts.
• Develop and/or analyze project documentation such as subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Plan and execute the physical work and develop the project schedule.
• Coordinate schedule and plan with subcontractors and vendors.
• Maintain control of the project budget and report profitability.
• Prepare, quote, and negotiate contract changes with guidance.
• Maintain communication with supporting units and local union officials.
• Promote goodwill with clients, architects, engineers, etc.
